Course Objective:
To refresh knowledge obtained when originally achieving Canadian Certified Playground Inspector (CCPI) status and renew CCPI status for three more years.
What You Will Learn:
- Refresh understanding of the technical requirements contained within the CSA Standards Document.
- Any changes in the CSA Z614 standard since the previous edition.
- Refresh knowledge on evaluating existing play structures for compliance with the CSA standards.
- Refresh understanding of the application of the CSA Standards and how to evaluate compliance of playspaces and equipment.
Who Should Take This Course:
Participants whose certification has expired for more than six months are required to take a Recertification Prep Course, before they are allowed to write the Recertification Exam. Those whose certification has been expired less than 6 months, but would like to refresh their knowledge before taking the exam.
